The Noida authority had launched an initiative where eight doctors will counsel residents in the area over phone amid the nationwide lockdown impoed to crub the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The Noida authority had launched an initiative where eight doctors will counsel residents in the area over phone amid the nationwide lockdown impoed to crub the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Noida Authority auhority officials have engaged professionals from the Indian Medical Association (IMA) to facilitate medical consultation for the residents via phone calls. Eight doctors have been roped in to provide consultation to the residents with health issues between 10 am and 6 pm and they can be reached at 0120-2422317.

CEO Noida Authority Ritu Maheshawari said the facility will be available from Saturday.

Noida has reported over 100 coronavirus cases so far. Earlier, the Noida Authority launched Apurti Suvidha app for delivery of essential items to the residents at their doorsteps.

The app is available for Android users and through this app, the residents can order grocery items, vegetables, fruits and medicines that will be delivered to them without any hassles.

Meanwhile, the Gautam Buddh Nagar administration on April 21 banned the movement of people between Noida and Delhi, except for those involved in Covid-19 related services, goods transportation and media personnel.
