My Visit to a Baishakhi Fair
I really enjoyed the Pahela Boishakh fair this year. This fair is held on the occasion of Pahela Baisakh to celebrate Bengali New Year. Pahela Boishakh basically means the first day of the Bengali New Year. This day is specially celebrated in our country. On the occasion of Pahela Baisakh, a fair was going on in our house for two days. This fair used to be held on the banks of the river near the market of our village. Went there to see and enjoy the fair. I went there on foot. On the way we met many villagers who were going to the fair wearing new clothes. I really liked the fact that the fair had various entertainment sections. Several merry-go-rounds were also showing off their tricks. I knew I couldn't have much fun going to the fair alone so I went with my friends. We went there and saw the handicrafts of the artisans, food items, different types of pottery and other fashionable items. I also bought some. Various songs are sung to welcome the new year. I enjoyed the songs very much. Going to the fair with my friends was a new experience in my life and I will always remember this day.
আমার দেখা বৈশাখী মেলা অনুচ্ছেদ
এই বছর পহেলা বৈশাখের মেলা আমি সত্যিই উপভোগ করেছি। বাংলা নববর্ষ উদযাপনের জন্য পহেলা বৈশাখ উপলক্ষে এই মেলা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। পহেলা বৈশাখ মানেই মূলত বাংলা নববর্ষের প্রথম দিন। এই দিনটি আমাদের দেশে বিশেষভাবে পালিত হয়। পহেলা বৈশাখ উপলক্ষে আমাদের বাড়িতে দুই দিন ধরে মেলা চলছিল। আমাদের গ্রামের বাজারের কাছে নদীর তীরে এই মেলা বসত। সেখানে গিয়েছিলাম মেলা দেখতে ও উপভোগ করতে। পায়ে হেঁটে সেখানে গেলাম। পথে অনেক গ্রামবাসীর সাথে দেখা হলো যারা নতুন পোশাক পরে মেলায় যাচ্ছিলেন। মেলায় বিভিন্ন বিনোদনের অংশ থাকায় আমার খুবই ভাল লেগেছে । বেশ কিছু মেরি-গো-রাউন্ডও তাদের কৌশল দেখাচ্ছিল। আমি জানতাম আমি একা একা মেলায় গিয়ে তেমন মজা করতে পারব না তাই আমি আমার বন্ধুদের সাথে গিয়েছিলাম । আমরা সেখানে গিয়ে কারিগরদের হস্তশিল্প, খাদ্যসামগ্রী, বিভিন্ন ধরনের মৃৎশিল্প এবং অন্যান্য ফ্যাশনেবল জিনিসপত্র দেখে খুবই ভাল লাগল । আমি ও কিছু কিনেছিলাম। নতুন বছরকে স্বাগত জানাতে বিভিন্ন ধরনের গান গাওয়া হয়। গানগুলো খুব উপভোগ করলাম। মেলায় বন্ধুদের সাথে যাওয়া ছিল আমার জীবনের নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা এবং এই দিনটার কথা আমার সবসময় মনে থাকবে ।
