Empowerment of Women in Bangladesh for PECE/JSC/SSC/HSC
Women's empowerment is a process that helps women gain opportunities to join the workforce, contribute to family income, and influence family and social affairs. Women have to earn and make decisions in the family and society, and most women in Bangladesh are confined within four walls. There are many reasons behind this—patriarchal society, superstition and religious bigotry at their peak. Girls born into poor families are often undesirable. Poor parents usually consider not sending him to school. She is married before attaining physical maturity. In her in-laws' house, she is marginalised and often tortured by her husband and in-laws for dowry. But women are not less important than men. Almost half of our total population is women. No nation can make real progress by alienating half of its total population. So women empowerment in a developing country like ours. Indeed, women's empowerment is impossible without economic independence. For this, women's education should be ensured first. Along with women, the whole society should be aware of women's rights. People at all levels including the government should come forward to cooperate wholeheartedly.
নারীর ক্ষমতায়ন এমন একটি প্রক্রিয়া যা নারীদের কর্মক্ষেত্রে যোগদানের সুযোগ পেতে সাহায্য করে, পারিবারিক আয়ে অবদান রাখে এবং পারিবারিক ও সামাজিক বিষয়ে প্রভাব বিস্তার করে। পরিবার ও সমাজে নারীদের উপার্জন করতে হয় এবং সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে হয় এবং বাংলাদেশের অধিকাংশ নারীই চার দেয়ালের মধ্যে আবদ্ধ। এর পেছনে অনেক কারণ রয়েছে- পুরুষতান্ত্রিক সমাজ, কুসংস্কার এবং ধর্মীয় গোঁড়ামি তাদের শীর্ষে। দরিদ্র পরিবারে জন্ম নেওয়া মেয়েরা প্রায়ই অবাঞ্ছিত হয়। দরিদ্র অভিভাবকরা সাধারণত তাকে স্কুলে না পাঠান বলে মনে করেন। শারীরিক পরিপক্কতা অর্জনের আগেই তার বিয়ে হয়। তার শ্বশুর বাড়িতে, সে প্রান্তিক এবং প্রায়ই যৌতুকের জন্য তার স্বামী এবং শ্বশুরবাড়ির দ্বারা নির্যাতন করা হয়। কিন্তু নারীরা পুরুষের চেয়ে কম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নয়। আমাদের মোট জনসংখ্যার প্রায় অর্ধেক নারী। কোনো জাতি তার মোট জনসংখ্যার অর্ধেককে বিচ্ছিন্ন করে প্রকৃত উন্নতি করতে পারে না। তাই আমাদের মতো উন্নয়নশীল দেশে নারীর ক্ষমতায়ন। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, অর্থনৈতিক স্বাধীনতা ছাড়া নারীর ক্ষমতায়ন অসম্ভব। এ জন্য সবার আগে নারী শিক্ষা নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। নারীর পাশাপাশি পুরো সমাজকে নারীর অধিকার সম্পর্কে সচেতন হতে হবে। সরকারসহ সর্বস্তরের জনগণকে আন্তরিকভাবে সহযোগিতা করতে এগিয়ে আসতে হবে।
